With over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, our founders have long championed sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy. When electric vehicles began to enter the mainstream, we knew the transition wasn’t just exciting—it was essential.

But we also saw the barriers firsthand: limited charging infrastructure, high upfront costs, and widespread range anxiety.

In 2021, we rebranded our long-standing renewables business as Electric Avenue, shifting our focus to building smarter EV charging solutions that solve real-world challenges for contractors, businesses, and communities. With our background in electrical systems and grid-connected infrastructure, we knew we could do more than just build chargers—we could create a platform for long-term electrification.

From day one, we made a deliberate choice: to work exclusively through electrical distribution. This ensures our products are supported by local expertise and available through the same trusted channels contractors already use, while keeping our focus on commercial-grade performance and long-term reliability.

Shortly after, we launched our Watti family of EV chargers, including:

Watti Home for residential charging,
Watti Pro for commercial, public, and fleet applications, and
Watti Direct for scalable DC fast charging.

All of our products are powered by our custom open-source enterprise software platform, which enables full station monitoring, billing, access control, and advanced load management.
