Federal :

The NRCan Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) provides funding up to $5,000 per connector to offset the cost of purchasing and installing 10 or more Level 2 charging stations and up to $75,000 for each DC fast chargers (DCFC) for special ZEV infrastructure projects. Provincial :

The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre has created the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities (EVM) Program to provide rebates for 50% of total install costs up to $2,000 per charger for Level 2 (208V or 240V AC) or higher EV Charging Stations for municipalities in Alberta.

Federal :

The NRCan Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) provides funding up to $5,000 per connector to offset the cost of purchasing and installing 10 or more Level 2 charging stations and up to $75,000 for each DC fast chargers (DCFC) for special ZEV infrastructure projects. Provincial :

  • BC Hydro customers can apply for the EV Ready plan rebate. A rebate of up to $3,000 for the creation of an EV Ready plan – a professional strategy for your building to make at least one parking space per residential unit EV Ready.
  • BC Hydro customers can apply for the EV charger rebate. A rebate of up to $2,000 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers in your workplace or multi-family building, to a maximum of $14,000.
  • BC Hydro customers can apply for the EV Ready infrastructure rebate. A rebate of up to $600 per parking space to install the electrical infrastructure required to implement your EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $80,000.
  • BC Hydro customers can apply for the EV charger rebate. A rebate of up to $1,400 per charger to purchase and install Level 2 networked EV chargers to implement your building’s EV Ready plan, to a maximum of $14,000
  • FortisBC customers can apply for an EV charging rebate up to 50% of eligible purchase and installation costs, up to $2,000 per station, to a maximum of $14,000 per application to install Level 2 Charging infrastructure in your workplace or multi-unit residential building.
  • FortisBC customers can apply to receive a rebate up to 50% of eligible purchase and installation costs, up to $700 per port, to a maximum of $5,000 per application for Level 2 EV charging station(s) in a multi-unit residential building that was constructed after implementation of municipal bylaws requiring EV-ready parking stalls
  • The CleanBC Go Electric Fleets program is intended to support public and private light-duty fleets transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). For a limited time, up to $30,000 in rebates for electrical infrastructure upgrades to support fleet EV charging (otherwise a maximum of $20,000) along with up to $4,000 in rebates for the purchase and installation of Level 2 charging stations (otherwise a maximum of $2,000); in addition to a maximum of $50,000 in rebates for the purchase and installation of DC Fast chargers. Applications are due March 1, 2023.
  • The CleanBC Go Electric Public Charger Program is offering rebate amounts from $80,000 per <50 kW DCFC, to $130,000 per >100 kW DCFC for business, not-for-profit, local government, Indigenous community, or public sector organizations located and operating in B.C. to fill current gaps in the public DCFC network in B.C.. Applications are accepted until all funds have been exhausted.
  • The CleanBC Commercial Vehicle Pilots Program(CVP) Program supports B.C.-based businesses, non-profits and eligible public entities looking to deploy commercial zero-emission vehicles, including medium- and heavy-duty on-road vehicles, rail, marine, aircraft and off-road equipment, along with supporting infrastructure. There is $11 million available for a wide range of zero-emission vehicle fleets and supporting infrastructure.
  • he SUVI Program provides rebates to purchasers or lessees of new cargo e-bikes, electric motorcycles, utility trucks, buses & more! The rebate is limited to a maximum of 33% of the vehicle MSRP or the maximum rebate amount listed in the respective vehicle category, whichever is less. The rebate percentage for eligible tourism operators (members of B.C. Destination Marketing Organizations) for on-road medium and heavy-duty vehicles is 66%, with a maximum cap of $100,000. Rebate amounts are subject to change.

Provincial :

  • The Province of Quebec offers financial assistance for the acquisition and installation of charging stations at the workplace equal to 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $5,000 per port. There is no specific limit on the number of terminals installed and eligible for a refund claim. However, the maximum amount of financial assistance allocated per institution is set at $25,000 per fiscal year.
  • The Province of Quebec provides financial assistance for the acquisition, lease and installation of one or more 240 VAC charging stations for multi-unit residential buildings. The rebate may be as much as much as $5,000 per charging station.
  • The Province of Quebec is offering up to $60,000 (or 50% of total eligible costs) for DC fast charging stations used for light, medium and heavy-duty road fleets.

Provincial :

The Government of Yukon is offering a rebate for installing a Level 2 electric vehicle charger at multi-unit residential, commercial, or institutional buildings. You may be eligible to receive 50% of the purchase and installation costs up to $4,000 per installed charger at these locations. This includes First Nations government-owned buildings.
